Mr. Yasir Mohammed began his martial arts journey in 2002 and today holds a prestigious 4th Dan Black Belt (Japan Karate Association – JKA). Starting as a Taekwondo black belt, his dedication and passion for martial arts soon expanded into multiple disciplines. In 2014, Yasir moved to Abu Dhabi for work and met Sensei Shan, who welcomed him into the Emirates Karate & EK Sports Academy family.

Professional Highlights

Since then, Mr. Yasir has become one of the academy’s most respected instructors, dedicating himself to teaching and guiding students in Karate, Kickboxing, Kung Fu, and Taekwondo. His wealth of experience, discipline, and passion has inspired more than 650 active members who currently train under his instruction.

In recognition of his dedication, teamwork, and continued support of the academy, Mr. Yasir was officially appointed Deputy Chief Instructor-in-Charge in 2024 — a role that reflects his leadership, commitment, and contribution to the Emirates Karate & EK Sports Academy.

Beyond teaching and leadership, Mr. Yasir has also excelled in competition, notably winning the Silver Medal at the JKS Cup 2018 Dubai Karate Championship, further enriching his practical knowledge and enhancing the insight he brings to his students.
